Superintendent's Welcome

 Welcome to the Lindale Independent School District!  Lindale ISD is known as one of the finest school districts in Texas.  We currently have four Exemplary campuses and a Recognized junior high campus.  Lindale ISD is rated as a Recognized District by the Texas Education Agency.

I hope you find our website useful.  We have recently revamped the entire site, so we would love to hear your input and especially if we have useful and needed information that needs to be posted.

About Mr. Surratt

This is my fourth year as the Superintendent of Lindale ISD and my twelfth as a superintendent.

I am in my 25^thyear in education.  I received an Associates Degree from Tyler Junior College, Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Kinesiology from Texas A&M Commerce and Masters of Education from Texas A&M Commerce.

I have been married for 22 years to my wife Julie who is a Pre-K teacher.  We have two great children, Ryan, 20, who attends Texas A&M University and Katie, 16.  I love family vacations, movies, golf, fishing and watching Lindale Eagles compete.
