Superintendent's Welcome
Welcome to the Lindale Independent School District! Lindale ISD is known as one of the finest school districts in Texas. We currently have four Recognized campuses and an Exemplary Intermediate campus. Lindale ISD is rated as a Recognized District by the Texas Education Agency.
I hope you find our website useful. We have recently revamped the entire site, so we would love to hear your input and especially if we have useful and needed information that needs to be posted.
If we can be of any help please do not hesitate to contact us. For parents looking for a new school system, please come by, I would love to give you a tour of our fantastic campuses.
We are very excited about all of the new facilities provided from the recent 42 million dollar bond election. We are blessed to have a newly renovated football stadium, a new Jr. High Campus, a 1,200 seat Performing Arts Center and additional classrooms at the high school. The new baseball/softball complex and tennis facility will be completed in the fall of 2011.
The 2011-12 school year is going to be a special one for Lindale ISD. Please contact me if we can assist you in any way.

About Mr. Surratt
This is my fifth year as the Superintendent of Lindale ISD and my thirteenth as a superintendent.
I am in my 27thyear in education. I received an Associates Degree from Tyler Junior College, Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Kinesiology from Texas A&M Commerce and Masters of Education from Texas A&M Commerce.
I have been married for 24 years to my wife Julie who is a Pre-K teacher. We have two great children, Ryan, who recently graduated from Texas A & M University with honors and our daughter, Katie, a college freshman at Tyler Junior College and our new daughter-in-law, Mandy, who serves in the military. I love family vacations, movies, golf, fishing and watching Lindale Eagles compete.
