Superintendent's Welcome
Welcome to the website for Lindale ISD. Lindale ISD is known as one of the finest school districts in Texas. Lindale ISD is rated as a Recognized District and every campus is rated recognized or exemplary. E.J. Moss Intermediate recently received the Texas Honor Circle Campus Award.
Lindale serves almost 3,800 students on six campuses. Lindale has a wonderful tradition of student success. Whether in the classroom, playing field or academic or fine arts competition, Lindale Eagles always excel. Just last school year our students won ten district championships.
Parents looking for a new school system, please come by, I would love to give you a tour of our fantastic campuses. We are very proud of our new facilities; renovated football stadium, new junior high campus, classroom expansion at the high school, new baseball/softball complex and new tennis facility. For those that have not seen these new facilities, I would be happy to give you a personal tour.

About Mr. Surratt
This is my sixth year as the Superintendent of Lindale ISD and my fourteenth as a superintendent.
I am in my 28thyear in education. I received an Associates Degree from Tyler Junior College, Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Kinesiology from Texas A&M Commerce and Masters of Education from Texas A&M Commerce.
I have been married for 25 years to my wife Julie who is a Pre-K teacher. We have two great children, Ryan, who recently graduated from Texas A & M University with honors and our daughter, Katie, a college freshman at Tyler Junior College. We have a new daughter-in-law who is in nursing school at U.T. Tyler. I love family vacations, movies, golf, fishing and watching Lindale Eagles compete.
