LISD Board President Brig. Gen. James K. "Red" Brown
Wife: Jane Marie Brown
Brig. Gen. James K. “Red” Brown is serving his third term as an LISD trustee and his second term as Board President. “Red” is a General in the Texas Army National Guard and served a tour of duty in Iraq from 2006-2008. He is a partner and president of Texas Pump & Water Systems, a water utility and systems construction company located in Tyler. “Red” also serves as the Chairman of the Lindale Economic Development Corporation and is active in numerous civic and professional organizations including the Rotary Club of Lindale, the Lindale ISD Education Foundation, Country for our Country and the Boys & Girls Club of Lindale. He holds a Master of Strategic Studies degree.

LISD Board Vice-President Tim Clemmons
Wife: Sally Clemmons 
Mr. Clemmons has been a trustee for Lindale ISD for two years. He has lived as a resident of Lindale for the past 15 years. Mr. Clemmons’ wife Sally is a teacher at Lindale High School. They have four children. Mr. Clemmons attends First Baptist Church of Lindale where he also serves as a Sunday School teacher.

LISD Board Secretary Mike Combs
Wife: Rachel Combs 
Mr. Combs was elected to the LISD Board in 2004 and re-elected in 2009. He has been employed as executive with the Target Corporation since 1989. Mr. Combs served seven years in the U.S. Army. He serves on the Boys & Girls Club of East Texas Lindale Unit board of directors. He is currently president of the Penny Lane Homeowners Association and owner of Vacationers Lawn Care. Mr. Combs is an active member of First Baptist Church, Lindale. He and his wife of 32 years, Rachel, have two sons, Chris and Ryan, both graduates and residents of Lindale.

LISD Board Member Jay Misenheimer
Wife: Melanie Misenheimer 
Jay Misenheimer is serving his first term as a LISD trustee. He is the co-owner and chief operating officer of Food Fast convenience stores. Mr. Misenheimer is president of Food Fast Childrens' Charities and also sits on the East Texas Food Bank board, Country for Our Country board, Texas Petroleum and the Convenience Stores executive board.
Mr. Misenheimer is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University (1985) and he holds a bachelor degree in business management. He and his wife Melanie have a son, Jason. They are active members of the First United Methodist Church of Lindale and have been Lindale residents since 2001.

LISD Board Member Edward "Buddy" Munn
Wife: Diane Munn 
Mr. Munn is a 1966 graduate of Lindale High School, and holds an Associate Degree in Business, and is an Air Force Veteran. Mr.Munn is an EMT for E.T.M.C., Tyler, and a member of the First Baptist Church, Lindale. He has served on our board for 11 years, twice serving as Board President. The Munn's have been married for 36 years and have 3 children and 7 grandchildren

LISD Board Member Joe Rodriquez
Wife: Kathy Rodriguez 
Mr. Rodriguez joined the board of trustees in 1999. Mr. Rodriguez is a 1976 graduate of Lindale High School. He and his wife of 35 years, Kathy, have two children, Michele and , both graduates of Lindale High School. Mr. Rodriguez has two grandchildren who currently attend Lindale schools, Kaylee and Alex. Mr. Rodriguez is an electrician by trade and attends the Lindale Church of Christ.

Matt Watts is serving his second term on the Lindale ISD Board. He is employed by Meridian Systems, Inc. and a partner in the Legends of Lindale. Matt is a 1993 Graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University.
