How do I start my student using bus transportation?
♦ Call the LISD Bus Barn @ 903-881-4110 and we can start it immediately
Can my student(s) go home with a friend or ride a different bus?
♦ Based on available space, students can ride another bus, please call the bus barn and your student's campus regarding any desired changes (No groups of are allowed to ride as guests to due to available space on the bus)
If my student is suspended, is that from all buses?
♦ Yes, once a student is suspended, that is for all LISD transportation to and from school.
Is my student free to sit where they want?
♦ Monitors and drivers often assign seats based on student age and behavior. Therefore each student may have options, but the bus staff has the final say regarding seating assignments.
Why are electronic devices not allowed on the bus?
♦ There have been many inappropriate activities as well as inappropriate content shared by students on the bus. I cannot control what's on the each device, therefore, I cannot allow any devices that could offend or invade the rights of others.
