Chair Test Information
Dear Parents,
Chair test for the High School Band beginning next Monday, November 8th 2010. This is the process what we use to split the 212 kids we have into three bands for Concert Season. The students have had the music for two weeks now and still have one more week to work on the music before the chair test. I am going to need parent volunteers to help with the chair test. We try to keep the chair test as anonymous as possible and ask that parents help monitor the chair test rooms. Many of you have helped in the past. Char test will begin at 7:30 am each morning Monday -Wednesday next week. I will need the parent volunteers here at 7:15 or a brief orientation. If you can help, please email me with what day or days you can help. I will need 9 volunteers Monday and Tuesday and 3 on Wednesday. Your help will be greatly appreciated. The charir schedule is posted on the web site and is listed below. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call.

Chair Test Schedule
Chair test will begin at 7:30 am each day Monday November 8th - Wednesday November 10th. Each student is expected to be at the band hall, warmed up and ready to audition at 7:30 the Morning of their audition. If a student is absent on the day of the audition, they will audition the day the return. If a student is absent 1st period on the day of their audition, but comes to school later that day, tthey will be expected to audition that day. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.
Schedule:
Monday: Trombone, All Saxophones, Oboe, Flute, Tuba, Contra Bass, Baritone, Bass Clarinet
Tuesday: Bb Clarinet, Trumpet, Horns
Wednesday: All Percussion
