The LJHS Symphonic Band earned recognition as one of the TMEA Region 21 Honor Band, and earned 4th Place in the TMEA Area C Contest for 2003-2004.
ATSSB Outstanding Performance Series State Contest: First Place Winner, Concert Performance and Runner-up, March Performance for 2003-2004!
ATSSB Outstanding Performance Series State Contest: 5th Place Winner, Concert Performance for 2004-2005!
The LJHS Symphonic Band was the ONLY varsity band in Region 21 to earn UIL Sweepstakes at the UIL Concert and Sightreading Contest in April, 2005.
