LINDALE ISD ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION
THAN LAST YEARS’S TAX RATE. However, the current year’s total tax rate of $1.1696 is 2.4 cents lower
than last year’s tax rate $1.192.
The tax rate will effectively be raised by 10.36 percent and will raise taxes for maintenance and

Lindale ISD is known as one of the finest school districts in Texas. Lindale Junior High School was selected as one of the Bush Institute's first class of Middle School Matters schools. The campus has since been named a Showcase School for the middle school program.

Lindale serves over 4,000 students on six campuses.  We have a wonderful tradition of student success. Whether in the classroom, playing field, academic or fine arts competitions, Lindale Eagles always excel.  This past year, our students won district championships in University Interscholastic League academics at the high school, junior high, and elementary level. Our Lindale High School also won the overall 2017 and 2018 UIL Academic State Championship at the 5A level, the 2021 UIL Academic State Championship at the 4A level, and were the 2022 State Silver Medalist in UIL Academics at the 4A level.

Parents looking for a new school system, please come by, I would love to give you a tour of our fantastic campuses.  We are very proud of our new facilities; Renovated football stadium, new indoor multi-purpose activity center, new junior high campus, classroom expansion at the high school and ECC, upgraded baseball/softball complex and a new tennis facility.  For those that have not seen these new facilities, I would be happy to give you a personal tour.

The 2023-2024 school year is going to be another banner year for Lindale ISD!

Please contact me if I can assist you in any way,

- Stan Surratt, Lindale ISD Superintendent
