The mission of the Lindale Independent School District, together with families and community members, is to empower and inspire students to be lifelong learners, leaders of tomorrow and responsible citizens while supporting the commonly recognized, traditional, moral values and ethics of the Lindale community.  

Mike Combs

LISD Board President

Mr. Combs was elected to the LISD board in 2006. He is married to his wife Rachel Combs of 39 years. He has two sons who are both LISD graduates and reside in Lindale, Texas. Mr. Combs retired from Target Corp after 25 years. He is the owner/manager of Combs Complete Lawn Care L.L.C in Lindale. Mr. Combs has served on the advisory board for the Boys and Girls Club of Lindale, Penny Lane HOA Officers and currently is a Director of the Penny Lane HOA. Mr. Combs also serves on the TIF Board. Mr. Combs and his family are active members of the First Baptist Church in Lindale where he serves as Chairman of the Building and Grounds Committee.

Robert McGee

LISD Board Vice-President

Robert McGee and his wife, Donna, moved to Lindale in 1995. He has served on the LISD Board of Trustees since 2015. They have 2 children who attended LISD for K-12. Mr. McGee is a 1993 graduate of UT Tyler.

 

He has been employed in the healthcare IT industry since 1993. In addition, the McGee’s own and operate a local small business, Hideaway Storage. They are members of the Lindale Area Chamber of Commerce and the Texas Self Storage Association.

Brooks Beeler

LISD Board Member

Brooks Beeler attended Lindale ISD from kindergarten through his high school graduation in 1989. Brooks went on to graduate from Tyler Junior College with an Associate of Arts degree. He has been married to his wife Melissa for 28 years. They have four children who have all graduated from Lindale ISD. He is an account executive for a computer hardware and software reseller, and a partner in some family businesses. Mr. Beeler and his family are members of the First Baptist Church in Lindale.

Gary Camp

LISD Board Member

Gary Camp is a 1975 graduate of Lindale High School and an alumnus of UT Tyler. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Susan Melvin Camp, the 1976 Miss LHS and Valedictorian. Together they have three children, Jennifer, Jessica, and Casey, who are all LHS graduates. They also have five grandchildren. Camp is the managing partner at Camp Financial Services, LLC. He has been a CPA and investment advisor in the Lindale community since 1981 and was first elected to the LISD Board in 1996. Camp has been a member of the First Baptist Church in Lindale since 1979, teaching Sunday School there for the past 30 years.

Donny Williams

LISD Board Member

Donny Williams joined the Lindale ISD School Board in May of 2015 in the place-six position. He is a graduate of SMU and has been a part of Lindale ISD since 1993 serving as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, and as Lindale High School Principal from 2010-2012. He is married to Bobbie Williams, a retired LISD teacher also. They have three beautiful daughters, all LHS graduates and they have four grandchildren.

Ragan Burgess

LISD Board Member

Ragan Burgess and his wife, Christin, moved to the Lindale community in 2009. Together they have four children: Brystal, Ranger, Cavern, and Baron. Two of which currently attend LISD. Ragan and his wife are active members of FBC Lindale where he serves as an usher and a committee member. Ragan graduated from Tyler Junior College with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Management. He is owner of Medders Brake & Alignment in Lindale. Ragan is a member of the Lindale Area Chamber of Commerce and the National Federation of Independent Businesses. He has served with the Lindale Baseball and Softball Association and the Lindale Youth Basketball League as a coach and
volunteer.
