Superintendent
Stan Surratt

Stan Surratt is in his 21st year as a superintendent with the last 13 at Lindale ISD.  Mr. Surratt has more than 33 years of experience in education, including teaching mathematics and coaching at the high school level. Mr. Surratt has been a principal at all levels--elementary, junior high and high school. He earned his Bachelor of Science and Masters of Education degrees from Texas A&M Commerce. Mr. Surratt also has an Associates of Arts degree from Tyler Junior College. He is married to his wife, Julie, and they have been blessed with a daughter, son, daughter-in-law and three grandsons. Mr. Surratt keeps an open invitation to give campus tours to new families in Lindale. 
 

Deputy Superintendent 
 Jamie Holder

Originally from Lubbock, Texas, Jamie Holder is a 35 year veteran of public education with 30 of those years in Lindale ISD. Mr. Holder came to Lindale ISD in 1991 and has served as a teacher, coach, bus driver, assistant principal, principal and he is currently in his 11th year as Deputy Superintendent. Lindale High School won back to back to back State Academic UIL championships from 2004-2006, and in 2009 Mr. Holder was recognized as the Region VII TASSP Principal of the Year. Mr. Holder is a proud graduate of Texas A&M. He and his wife, Wendy, have three children who all are graduates of Lindale ISD and Texas A&M. In his spare time Mr. Holder loves watching LISD students compete, attending Aggie sporting events and catching up with former students.

Brent Berryman

Career & Technical Education Director 

Brent Berryman is a 14 year veteran of Lindale ISD. Originally from Tyler Texas, Mr. Berryman moved to Lindale in 1993 and worked previously in Tyler and Van school districts. He was an engineering and welding instructor with the district prior to being named the CTE director in 2008.  Mr. Berryman is a proud graduate of UT Tyler. He and his wife, Lynn, have one daughter that graduated from LHS and the Tyler Junior College Nursing School. He loves spending time with his family and it usually involves hunting and camping.

Michelle Tate, CPA,  RTSBA, graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Accounting.  In 1993, Mrs. Tate received her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy. She has also received her Registered Texas School Business Administrator (RTSBA) certificate from The Texas Association of School Business Officials. Mrs. Tate began her Director of Finance position with Lindale ISD in 2012. She has two children.

Randall Anderson

Randall Anderson has been with Lindale ISD in the Technology Services Department since 2011.  His experience in the technology Industry began with Fujitsu Telecom Inc. in 1998 before joining LISD as a Technology Specialist for 3 years, Systems Administrator for 1 year, and Network Administrator for 2 years. Mr. Anderson provided data analysis, campus, and assessment support while obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from The University of Texas at Tyler in 2012. Anderson is a proud Lindale graduate, married to his beautiful wife, Lori, in 1994 and has two wonderful daughters.

Sanguinetti

Courtney Sanguinetti graduated from the University of North Texas, Mayborn School of Journalism in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in News and a minor in Marketing. Mrs. Sanguinetti began her career with Lindale ISD in 2017. Prior to LISD, she worked at KLTV Channel 7 as the 5:00 news producer. She is also the Vice President of Marketing and Events for the 1 in 3 Foundation, a non-profit out of Tyler, is a member of the Texas School Public Relations Association (TSPRA) and is a member of the Texas Education Foundation Network (TEFN). She and her husband, Rich Sanguinetti, have lived in Lindale for the past 7 years and have one little boy named Sawyer.

Christy Clouse

After spending two years working for Dripping Springs ISD, Christy Clouse returned to Lindale ISD as Director of Special Programs in 2018.  Previously, Ms. Clouse served as the RTI and Special Education Coordinator for LISD, as well as an Educational Diagnostician.  She has also served as the Director of Special Education for the Cherokee County Special Education Shared Services Arrangement since 2012.  Ms. Clouse earned her bachelor’s degree in Special Education from the University of Texas at Dallas and received an MBA with a focus in Educational Leadership from LeTourneau University.  Ms. Clouse enjoys spending time with her three beautiful daughters and her three grandchildren.

Megan Stanley graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Special Education. She received a master’s degree in School Counseling with a Principal Certification from Angelo State University. Over the last 13 years, she has served the district as both a General Education and Special Education teacher, Special Education Counselor, and Special Programs Instructional Coordinator. She is passionate about serving and supporting students with disabilities and their families.  Mrs. Stanley and her husband enjoy spending time outdoors, visiting state parks, and attending sporting events with their four children.

Candace Widemon

Mrs. Widemon began her career in education at Lindale ISD in 2006 as 1st grade teacher. She has served the district as a 1-3rd grade classroom teacher, an Intervention Coordinator, an intermediate assistant principal, and an intermediate principal. As the Director of Elementary Curriculum now, she values her role in supporting educators in best practices and providing them with the tools they need to be the best educators for kids. Mrs. Widemon is a big fan of LISD athletics as she cheers on her children and LISD students at sporting events. On Friday nights, you’ll find her cheering loud and ringing her bells for her 2 sons.  Her and her family enjoy traveling to beaches and attending college and professional sporting events.

Jennifer Lane

Jennifer Lane holds a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from The University of Texas at Tyler and is currently pursuing her Educational Doctorate in School Improvement. Lane taught secondary English before serving for a number of years as a Curriculum Specialist and Instructional Coach in her previous districts. Jennifer is also a member of the SEE Belize research team, working in partnership with the Ministry of Education and US Embassy in Belize, to grow teacher capacity and improve the quality of education across the country . She and her husband, Jay, live with their two daughters, Bailey and Avery, in nearby Flint.

Cynthia McClenny

Cindy McClenny is the Director of Child Nutrition Services for the Lindale Independent School District. As director for 11 years, she oversees all operations of the LISD CN program. She began her career in food service 25 years ago and advanced to work all level of school food service management. Cindy is a current member of the Texas Association of School Nutrition, East Texas Food Services Directors Association, and has served as a Preceptor for Cedar Crest College Dietetic Internship. She holds a current Certified Professional Food Management Certificate from the State of Texas. Currently her mission is to ensure that students in her district are healthy, happy, and well fed! She and her husband, Butch, have 4 children, 9 grandchildren, 2 dogs, and 1 goat.
They enjoy the outdoors and camping with family and friends.
